Country Walk Summary

Worlaby Carrs near Brigg

Worlaby Carrs is an important area for breeding and wintering birds. As part of a Countryside Stewardship agreement an extensive area of arable land is being turned into wet grassland. A further 75km of six metre grass margins, overwintered stubble and bird and insect food crops are also being created. This permissive route links with existing PROW to create a circular link from Bonby to Worlaby along the River Ancholme.
