Colkirk Hall Farm near Fakenham
The new permissive bridleway access, marked on the map, has been provided under the Countryside Stewardship Scheme. It links in with existing rights of way and provides circular walks around the village of Colkirk. Much of the permissive access is on the newly created grass margins which surround many of the fields. These field margins are managed to provide additional wildlife habitat and to help protect existing hedges and ditches. In addition you may notice hedgerow restoration on some field boundaries and also areas which are specifically grown and managed for farmland birds and invertebrates, including bees and butterflies. We hope you enjoy your visit.
