Warehams Farm near Guildford

Warehams Farm was formerly part of Sutton Estate, and part of the farm was an old water meadow system probably created in the seventeenth century by Sir Richard Weston. The land is managed with conservation aims as part of Defra''s CSS scheme. This aim is to protect and restore the landscape of the Wey Valley, enhance the species rich wet grassland, and provide habitat for mammals and birds such as otters, lapwing and barn owl.
