Country Walk & Ride Summary

Wingfields near Leominster

The permissive footpath links to an existing Public Right of Way. This in turn links with the open access area. The open access allows the visitor to view traditional Ash pollards probably originating from the practice of using pollarded Ash for hop poles in adjacent hop yards. An area of ridge and furrow can also be viewed on the eastern end of the site. The area affords good views of the Hatfield area. A car parking area is available adjacent to the open access. When stock are present please keep dogs on leads and take care to close gates behind you.
