Greenstead Farm near Halstead
This permissive access follows routes through the local countryside surrounding Halstead. This area has an ancient landscape, with small fields, river valley meadows and pockets of ancient woodland, all defined by pre-enclosure species-rich and ancient hedgerows. The hedgerows are maintained in good condition through a programme of rotational coppicing across the farm.
