Higher Hall Farm near South Molton

This short permissive route provides a good link between Barton Lane and Barton Wood. Barton Wood has permissive open access and the user can explore the woods with linking up with the Tarka Way and the Macmillan Way west. Looking north across the open fields on a clear day you will see the high heather and grass moors of Exmoor. On exiting/entering the woodland look out for deer that browse the grassland on the wooded edge.
