Higher Bodley Farm near Combe Martin
This permissive bridleway crosses a Site of Special Scientific Interest designated due to its diverse moorland habitats and is carefully grazed with both native breed Highland cattle and sheep. The area is one of the most important archaeological sites on Exmoor with visible features such as bronze age barrows and standing stones and on a fine day stunning views can be seen throughout the site.
Vehicles, horses and bikes can cause damage to the barrows and standing stones through erosion please access only by foot.
