Betley Court Farm near Crewe

This area of open access close to the village of Betley is linked to the Public right of way network that leads to the area around Betley Mere, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and an internationally designated Special Area of Conservation. Being very close to the village, the area can be the start, or finish of your walk and is a good place to picnic. Betley Mere is very scenic with reedbed, fen swamp and grassland habitat for birds & insects such as reed warblers and willow warblers.
