Cressage Bridge Riverside Walk near Much Wenlock
This permissive access route links with existing public footpaths to create a circular route which passes alongside the River Severn.
The path passes by a world war II hexagonal brick pill box, one of two such structures built on opposite sides of the river to defend Cressage Bridge.
To the east, the path links to a public footpath leading to the village of Leighton. At this point visitors can enjoy views across the 18th century park surrounding Leighton Hall. Trees have recently been planted within the park following the original planting designs to replace those that have been lost.
